Sandblast hoses (sometimes called abrasive-blasting hoses or blast hoses) are primarily used to move highly abrasive materials such as sand, steel shot, coal slag, and aluminum oxide in abrasive-blasting applications. They have thick inner tubes that resist abrasion.

The inside of the sandblasting hose is made of natural rubber, which has a considerable resistance to abrasion. The outer layer is made of a polymeric material.
